| 520 | |a Im vorliegenden Aufsatz wird der Versuch unternommen, die jüngste Diskussion über die Einfachheit Gottes im Zusammenhang der Renaissance trinitarischer Theologie am Ende des 20. Jahrhunderts zu reflektieren. Das aus der Philosophie entlehnte Prinzip der Einfachheit Gottes, das jede Zusammensetzung und jede Differenz von Potenz und Akt aus dem Gottesbegriff ausschließen soll, wird in drei Kontexten betrachtet, in denen jeweils die Beziehungen Gottes zu seiner Schöpfung betont werden: in den biblischen Zeugnissen, im interreligiösen Dialog und im Blick auf das kommunikative Beziehungsgeschehen des Gottesdienstes. Ausgehend von Martin Luthers Verständnis der Trinität als ewiges Gespräch in Gott, das die Schöpfung einbezieht, wird erkundet, ob das Verständnis Gottes als Gespräch im Zusammenhang einer Ontologie kommunikativer Relationen sowohl dem In-Beziehung-Sein Gottes als auch der grammatischen Regel der Einfachheit Rechnung tragen kann. | ||
| 520 | |a This paper reflects on the recent discussions on divine simplicity in the context of the renaissance of trinitarian theology at the end of the 20th century. The philosophical principle of divine simplicity, which is aimed at excluding any composition and any difference between potency and act from God’s being, is considered in three contexts: with reference to the biblical witnesses, in connection with interreligious dialogue and in the context of the relational communicative structure of Christian worship. On the basis of Luther’s understanding of the Trinity as an eternal conversation in God, the paper explores whether the understanding of God as conversation, developed in the context of an ontology of communicative relations, can do justice both to God’s being-in-relation and to the principle of simplicity, interpreted as a grammatical rule for discourse about God. | ||
