Furthermore, just as there was more than one heaven or salvific reward, there were multiple types of ethical conduct, tailored to whether you were a Jew or a gentile, a saint or a sinner, a spiritual (pneumatic) or merely soulish (psychic) person. A saint will enjoy a higher level of salvation because she behaved differently than a repentant sinner.
