This text seeks to point out the influence of the Church on the symbolic references in Brazilian culture; to demonstrate the importance of the preservation of ecclesiastical goods, since they are symbolic objects, based on the book Symbolic Imagination of Gilbert Durand; and, finally, to launch a proposal for the preservation of the ecclesiastical patrimony. |
