AB Seit Jahren gibt es in Deutschland eine intensive und zum Teil sehr emotional geführte Debatte um die Grenzen der Sterbehilfe. Das Bundesverfassungsgericht hat in einer aktuellen Entscheidung festgestellt, dass das verfassungsrechtlich verankerte Recht auf Selbstbestimmung auch das Recht auf Suizid sowie auf Inanspruchnahme freiwillig geleisteter Suizidhilfe beinhaltet. Der Beitrag diskutiert dieses Urteil vor dem Hintergrund der aktuellen Debatte.
