Sumario:The article offers information on several historical pandemics worldwide. Topics include examines the "Plague of Athens," that is an outbreak that occurred during a series of wars with Sparta at the end of the fifth century B.C.E; and focuses on "Plague of Cyprian" that was recorded by the eponymous Bishop of Carthage, who describes transcontinental pandemic of such magnitude that an Athenian historian claims.
