AB Este artigo é resultado de pesquisas sobre a interferência da religião no processo desocialização do sujeito e tem como objetivo mostrar o impacto da opção por Jesus Cristo na vida pessoal e da comunidade. Sua categoria central é o acontecimento: encontro com Jesus. Dentro de um movimento dialético, esse acontecimento transforma o sujeito e a sociedade, faz do crente um protagonista, um sujeito ativo, um produtor de sentidos e valores para sua geração e as futuras. As pesquisas demonstram que basta à pessoa buscar Jesus Cristo e ser por ele desafiada, incomodada, desestabilizada, para que desperte nela a alegria e o entusiasmo de viver as bem-aventuranças. O texto traz dois exemplos selecionados entre as quinze lideranças estudadas, que se declararam seguidoras de Jesus e organizaram uma comunidade cristã católica ou protestante. A metodologia utilizada na pesquisa foi a de estudo de caso.
AB This review is a result of some researches concerning the religious interference in the socialization process in one´s life, and its goal is to show the impact of choosing Jesus Christ as his saviour, to himself as well as to his community. The main theme is one happening: the meeting with Jesus Christ. Within a dialectic movement, this happening changes the subject and society it makes the believer a storyteller, an active subject, a maker of feelings and values to his generations and to the ones to come. The researches show that, the person only needs to seek Jesus Christ and be challenged, disturbed, unstable by him, in order to have awaken the joy and the enthusiasm to experience the beatitudes. The text brings out two selected examples among fifteen studied leaderships, who declared themselves Jesus’ followers and organized a Christian community, catholic or protestant. The methodology was a case study.
