This study shows how well the Pope's initiatives are grounded in the theology of the Vatican II. Referring to various publications and addresses the author shows that Francis' whirlwind approach is not arbitrary, but is marked by a faithful implementation of the council's main tenets. Thus the Pope encourages the biginning of a new phase in the appropriation of the Council's teachings. |
