Description
Summary:Jonathan Edward’s message has always been of interest to Pietistic movements in the Netherlands. Although the volumes of his published works are not great in number compared with other authors, over the centuries there has been a continued interest in his message. In this contribution, the translations of Edwards’ works and the academic reflections upon his work are examined. In the first part, I investigate the popular translations and printings of Edwards’ works in the Netherlands
