In un primo momento si precisa cosa voglia dire “fare storia” nel mondo biblico, e come questo non sia finalizzato alla ricostruzione precisa degli eventi, ma al riconoscimento del progetto salvifico di Dio che negli eventi si dispiega. In un secondo momento si prende in considerazione la prima grande storiografia, di cui si ha testimonianza nel dettato biblico, ovvero la storiografia deuteronomista, ponendo attenzione agli sviluppi della ricerca esegetica in merito, alla modalità di approccio alle fonti da parte degli autori, al livello di storicità del materiale prodotto, e alle note teologiche dominanti. | ||
| 520 | |a This article investigates the biblical way of doing history, appreciating therein the richness and highlighting its weaknesses. In the first part the emphasis is on what “making history” in the biblica! world view actually means, and how this is not aimed at the precise reconstruction of events but at recognizing the salvific project of God which is revealed within those same events. In the second part the first great historiography, the Deuteronomistic one, borne witness to in the same biblical writings, is taken into consideration, with particular attention given to the developments in exegetical research on the subject; to the approach adopted by the authors regarding the sources; to the level of historicity of the materia! produced, and to the dominant theological notes. | ||
