Die Festschrift trägt den Titel »Iuris sacri pervestigatio«. Der Titel nimmt nicht nur den naheliegenden Bezug auf Johann Hirnspergers ertragreiche forscherische Tätigkeit auf dem Gebiet des kanonischen Rechts der katholischen Kirche, sondern spiegelt auch das Interesse des Geehrten an den Rechtsordnungen anderer Kirchen und Religionsgemeinschaften und das damit verbundene ökumenische und interreligiöse Anliegen wider. Rechtliche Regelungen grenzen nicht nur die Kompetenzen und Ansprüche unterschiedlicher gesellschaftlicher oder religiöser bzw. kirchlicher Akteure ab, sondern stehen in der Sicht Johann Hirnspergers vor allem im Dienst von Frieden und Gerechtigkeit. Religiöses Recht, insbesondere das kanonische Recht, ist für ihn darüber hinaus rückgebunden an Glauben und Bekenntnis und wird davon inhaltlich wesentlich geprägt. -- Die Ausführungen der Autoren der Festschrift greifen wesentliche Forschungsbereiche von Johann Hirnsperger auf, wenden sich aber auch grundlegenden und aktuellen kanonistischen, religionsrechtlichen und theologischen Fragenkreisen zu. / On the occasion of the end of Johann Hirnsperger's active academic duties, colleagues and friends took the opportunity to honour the Professor of Canon Law at the University of Graz with a commemorative publication to appreciate his academic work. The title of the commemorative publication »Iuris sacri pervestigatio« not only makes an obvious reference to the extensive research work of Johann Hirnsperger in the field of canon law of the Catholic Church, but also reflects his interest in the legal systems of other churches and religious communities and the related ecumenical and interreligious concerns. -- The explanations of the authors of the commemorative publication take up essential research areas of Johann Hirnsperger, but also address fundamental and current canonical, religious law and theological issues.
