Au même titre que Bologne, elle attire à ce titre un grand nombre d’étudiants, y compris étrangers. L’université est organisée en "Nations", parmi lesquelles la "Nation Germanique" est la plus importante. Tout naturellement, la "Nation Germanique" et les pérégrins ou les voyageurs d’origine allemande jouent un rôle décisif dans le transfert de la Réforme luthérienne vers le royaume. Le catalogue de la bibliothèque de la "Nation Germanique", publié pour la première fois sous forme imprimée en 1664, nous informe sur la "présence protestante" dans la collection, en même temps que sur l’organisation et sur les fonctions de celle-ci. | ||
