| Summary: | This essay presents the interdisciplinary and intercultural conference on Women and Humanizing the Culture. The Path of Education, held at Collevalenza in Perugia from October 1--10, 1997, and presents how it was structured, its goals, its inspirational motives, the conclusions reached, and especially the prospects for the future. It was a complex, rich conference that assessed the global condition of women and the preventive nature of education, setting out problem areas as well as the opportunities and resources in which to invest in order to promote humanizing processes in the culture and in education, where women can make their own contribution by placing female ingenuity in reciprocity with men. The presentation of the conference is intended as a further step forward for the benefit of humanity. Il saggio presenta il Convegno interdisciplinare e interculturale Donna e umanizzazione della cultura. La via dell’educazione, svoltosi a Collevalenza (Perugia) dal 1° al 10 ottobre 1997; ne segnala l’articolazione, le finalità, i motivi ispiratori, le acquisizioni raggiunte e soprattutto le prospettive di futuro. È stato un Convegno complesso, molto ricco, che ha tracciato un bilancio sulla condizione mondiale della donna e sulla preventività educativa, facendone emergere i nodi problematici, ma anche le opportunità e le risorse su cui investire per favorire processi di umanizzazione della cultura e anche dell’educazione ove la donna possa offrire il proprio contributo, mettendo in atto il genio femminile in reciprocità con l’uomo. La presentazione del Convegno è in vista di un ulteriore passo in avanti a vantaggio dell’umanità.
