| 520 | |a Di fronte alle diverse circostanze che provocano un calo delle vocazioni in Europa e rispetto alla sfida lanciata da Papa Francesco prima del Sinodo sui giovani, ossia ripensare il modo in cui accompagnare i giovani a riconoscere e accogliere la propria chiamata, occorre ritornare con la dovuta attenzione al fondamento di ogni autentica formazione, che consiste nella formazione umana. Tra diversi altri, due sono stati in tempi recenti i grandi formatori che hanno suscitato numerose vocazioni cristiane: Karol Wojtyła e Luigi Giussani. Il punto decisivo per i giovani, secondo Wojtyła, sta nel «coltivare i legami con fedeltà», senza trascurare la formazione dell'identità e della personalità: solo un tale impegno potrà portare frutti nel discernimento e nella scelta della propria strada. Questo cammino però non sarà né veloce, né facile, come insegna Giussani. Occorre partire dall'esperienza concreta della vita, conoscendo se stessi, i propri problemi e bisogni, e riconoscendo in Gesù Cristo, come «centro affettivo», la piena e definitiva risposta ad essi. L'esperienza di entrambi gli educatori potrebbe offrire numerosi suggerimenti a quella che si è soliti chiamare la «pastorale vocazionale». Potrebbe altresì suggerire una profonda revisione della normativa riguardante la formazione dei chierici e dei giovani in generale. Vivere il cristianesimo nel mondo, viverlo ogni giorno nell'ottica del «dono di sé» nel celibato, viverlo consapevolmente, così da portare anche gli altri a Gesù, in assenza di una solida formazione umana sarebbe estremamente difficile o addirittura impossibile. | ||
| 520 | |a Faced with the different circumstances that cause a decline in vocations in Europe and taking into account the challenge launched by Pope Francis before the Synod on Young People, that is to rethink the way in which to accompany young people to recognize and welcome their call, we must return with due attention to the foundation of alt true formation, which consists of human formation. Among many others, two have recently been the great formators who have given rise to many Christian vocations: Karol Wojtyła and Luigi Giussani. According to Wojtyła, the decisive point for young people lies in «cultivating bonds with fidelity», without neglecting the formation of identity and personality: only such a commitment can bear fruit in discernment and in the choice of one’s own path. However, this journey will not be quick or easy, as Giussani teaches. It is necessary to start from the concrete experience of life, getting to know oneself, one’s problems and needs, and recognizing in Jesus Christ, as «the affective center», the full and definitive answer to them. The experience of both educators could offer numerous suggestions to what is usually called «vocational pastoral». It could also suggest a profound revision of the legislation concerning the formation of clerics and young people in general. Living Christianity in the world, experiencing it every day from the point of view of the «gift of self» in celibacy, living it consciously, so as to bring others to Jesus in the absence of solid human formation would be extremely difficult or even impossible. | ||
