This article traces the emergence of PT in the 20th and first two decades of the 21st century including attention to the emergence of several constitutive fields and the Association of Practical Theology. I will attend to several trajectories: epistemological and related liberative political influences, effects of privilege and marginalization for the integrity of the discipline and the knowledge it constructs, methodological innovations, and strategies for research. The article describes emerging trajectories. | ||
| 520 | |a Die US-amerikanische Praktische Theologie gewinnt in der zweiten Hälfte des 20. Jahrhunderts ihre charakteristische Gestalt. Sie wird darin von befreiungstheologischen und postmodernen epistemologischen Ansätzen beeinflusst. Der vorliegende Aufsatz zeichnet die disziplinäre Entwicklung bis in die ersten Jahrzehnte des 21. Jahrhunderts nach. Er berücksichtigt die Entstehung wichtiger neuer Forschungsfelder und des Fachverbandes Assocation of Practical Theology. Besonders bedacht werden folgende Entwicklungslinien: der Einfluss befreiungs- bzw. politisch-theologischer Strömungen; der problematische Umgang des Faches mit Machtdynamiken, methodologische Neuansätze und Forschungsstrategien. Der Aufsatz erläutert zudem gegenwärtige Trends der Theorieentwicklung. | ||
