Another great transformation: technical and economic change from the chalcolithic to the early bronze age in southern Levant
The author reviews the importance of metallurgy in the Chalcolithic and Early Bronze Age of the Southern Levant. It is argued that a new perception of metal goods in the Early Bronze Age is connected with an increased importance of commodity trade.
