Summary: | The study of Masonry is complex. In this sense, a rigorous critical selection of studies on the history about the topic has to be done. In this article, we tackle some historiographical perspectives around the research of Masonry in Argentina and, mainly, in national Southern regions of the country. We centre our focus in those theoretical axes which tackle the issue from a critical and academic perspective which, rather than concentrating on mystical or ritualistic components, intend to recover other elements of the study of Masonry, for instance, its historical and socio-political aspects. |
