But for those from other religious traditions or none, the creation also has a voice: what it declares is wonderful and awe-inspiring. Reacting against the rationalistic dual-isms of modernity, contemporary nature-writing provides a space for a relationship of interconnectedness with nature to be played out, as poetic attention is rewarded by the realization that the natural world speaks itself.
