| Summary: | Dans la deuxième moitié du xxe s., le théologien allemand Friedrich-Wilhelm Marquardt cherche à purifier la pensée chrétienne de son antijudaïsme. Sa critique vise plus spécifiquement la tradition protestante à laquelle il appartient. Selon lui, en situant l’unique et universelle médiation de salut en Jésus-Christ dans le cadre conceptuel de la confession de foi personnelle, cette tradition en exclut le peuple juif, et oublie que c’est à partir de sa singularité historique que se déploie l’œuvre universelle de la grâce divine. In the second half of the twentieth century, the German theologian Friedrich-Wilhelm Marquardt sought to purify Christian thought of its anti-Judaism. His criticism was aimed more specifically at the Protestant tradition to which he belonged. According to him, by situating the unique and universal mediation of salvation in Jesus Christ within the conceptual framework of the personal confession of faith, this tradition excludes the Jewish people from it, and forgets that it is from its historical singularity that the universal work of divine grace unfolds. |
