| Summary: | Es ist sinnvoll, den bisherigen Diskurs über das Verhältnis von Kirche und Diakonie um evangelische Bildungseinrichtungen zu erweitern. Angesichts ihrer strukturellen Ausdifferenzierung und Multirationalität scheint es theologisch angemessen, Diakonie und Bildungseinrichtungen von der verfassten Kirche zu unterscheiden und als Organisationsformen evangelischer Praxis in der Gesellschaft zu beschreiben. Auf dieser Grundlage können Kooperationsbeziehungen unter Einbeziehung der jeweiligen Erfahrungen, Kompetenzen und Ressourcen gestaltet werden. Protestant Practice in Society : On the Relation between Church, Christian Social Service, and Christian Educational Bodies. It makes sense to extend the familiar discourse about the relation between church and “diaconia” (meaning, Christian social service) to the phenomenon of Christian schools and other Christian educational organizations. In regards to their structural differentiation and multi-rationality, it seems theologically adequate to distinguish Christian social service and educational institutions from the institutional church and describe them as organizational forms of practiced Christianity in society. On this basis, relations of cooperation can be upheld which acknowledge specific experiences, competencies and resources on both sides. |
