Attraverso l’analisi dell’impiego di Recognitiones nell’opera di Johann Wier, si propone inoltre un collegamento tra la fortuna - ambivalente ma trasversale - di Recognitiones alla metà del Cinquecento e la genesi della leggenda di Faust. | ||

On the one hand, the paper focuses on the doctrinal controversies between Catholicism and the Reformation ; on the other, it examines the relation between confessional dogmatisms and humanistic philosophies. Through a new analysis of the data collected by Irena Backus, some additional contextual elements are investigated.
