This information must be complete, objective and scientifically rigorous. It must be adapted to the use of the drug and be fully understandable. It should help in prescribing, expedite dispensing, and help the patient adhere to treatment. Thus, according to the recipient, the information will be different. It is the role of the pharmacist and the physician to use it for patient education. The information given must be objective. Medication guidelines published by HAS (Haute Autorité de Santé/National Health Agency) and Inserts given with the drugs should be considered the most reliable. Information can also be found in major scientific publication journals, in independent papers produced by groups of doctors and pharmacists, or in treatment guidelines. One must be very reserved about such information found on certain "Internet" sites. | ||

Cette information doit être complète, objective et scientifiquement rigoureuse. Elle doit s'adapter au besoin et être compréhensible. Elle doit aider à la prescription, faciliter la dispensation et faire adhérer le patient à son traitement. Ainsi, selon le destinataire, cette information sera différente. C'est au pharmacien et au médecin de l'utiliser pour l'éducation thérapeutique du patient.L'information donnée doit être objective. Ce sont les fiches de transparence ainsi que les notices qui accompagne le médicament qui doivent être considérées comme les plus fiables. On peut également trouver des informations dans les grandes revues de publications scientifiques, dans des bulletins indépendants créés par des groupes de médecins et de pharmaciens ou encore dans des guides thérapeutiques. Il faut être très réservé quant aux informations trouvées sur certains sites "Internet". | ||
