| Summary: | Vaincre la mort par des moyens techniques : telle est la perspective qui unit les diverses aspirations du mouvement transhumaniste, pointe avancée de la technoscience contemporaine. Comment une croyance religieuse a-t-elle pu ainsi se transformer en programme scientifique ? Pour répondre à cette question, l'article examine le rapport entre apocalyptique et sagesse et plus largement entre langage mythopoïétique et langage rationnel, en interrogeant notamment Paul et la Sagesse de Salomon. Defeat Death through technological means : this is the perspective that unites the diverse aspirations of the transhumanist movement, the cutting edge of contemporary techno-science. How could a religious belief have transformed itself into a scientific programme ? In order to reply to this question, the article will explore the relation between Apocalyptic and Wisdom, and more broadly, between mythopoetic and rational language by examining Paul and the Wisdom of Solomon. |
