| Summary: | Desde mediados del siglo xx se produjo una revision de los planteamientos de la moral, especialmente de los tratados de moral sexual y matrimonial. La renovacion se produjo alrededor de tres ejes: (a) la epistemologia, (b) el modelo moral, y (c) las normas morales. La renovacion epistemologica derivo en la aceptacion de la aplicabilidad de las normas concretas sobre sexualidad que aparecen en la Biblia, con tal de que antes fueran sometidas a una hermeneutica adecuada. La actualizacion del modelo moral introdujo la dimension positiva de la sexualidad, segun la cual, una conducta sexual es buena si esta integrada al conjunto armonico de la persona, y es mala cuando tiende hacia la individualizacion egoista de la sexualidad. El tercer aspecto que resulto afectado por este proceso fue el sistema normativo. Se constato la falta de aceptacion y credibilidad respecto a las normas oficiales, se discutio el sentido y la finalidad de las normas eticas en el campo de la moral sexual y se admitio la existencia de errores tanto de forma como de contenido. Since the middle of the 20th century there has been a revision of the approaches to morality, primarily the treaties of sexual and matrimonial morality. The renovation took place around three focal points: (a) epistemology, (b) the moral model, and (c) moral standards. The epistemological renovation derived in the acceptance of the applicability of the concrete norms on sexuality that appear in the Bible, provided that they were submitted before to an appropriate hermeneutics. The updating of the moral model introduced the positive dimension of sexuality, according to which, a sexual conduct is good if it is integrated to the person as an harmonious unit, and it is bad when it tends to the selfish individualization of sexuality. The third aspect that was affected by this process was the normative system. The lack of acceptance and credibility with regard to official standards was confirmed; the meaning and purpose of the ethical standards in the field of sexual morality was discussed, and the existence of errors both in form and content was admitted. |
