Summary: | The notes of Andrew Fuller's two sermons preached on his last Sunday (in October 1782) as pastor of the church in Soham, before his departure for Kettering, are unusually full compared to his other sermon notes from the period. They have survived only in a shorthand that has previously been regarded as uninterpretable, and so have not previously been published. In this article, the authors describe how they learned to read his shorthand, and present a transcription of the notes, together with some context to underline the importance of these sermons. |
