Summary:This essay is an introduction to reflection on the research in women's education completed by the Pontifical Faculty of Educational Sciences "Auxilium" over the last 50 years, giving particular attention to the conferences held on this topic. Three events are considered, The Statues and Their Evolution, Conferences on the Education of Women, and On the Prophetic Appeal of Veritatis Gaudium, to highlight the profound consistency between what is stated in the Statues of the Faculty from the first editions and what has been implemented in the conferences. The third event, welcoming the prophetic appeals of the Apostolic Constitution Veritatis Gaudium, set forth the hope of seeing the Faculty of Educational Sciences again situated among the other Faculties, given the particular way the educational sciences are conceived and developed.
