Although the Davidic ruler is the centrepiece of Micah's picture of the final kingdom of God, he is not said to be responsible for the peace or deliverance to be enjoyed by God's people. The result is that in the prophecy of Micah, Yhwh is the undisputed King and Deliverer. | ||
