Secondly, it investigates the arguments on what basis liberal theologians rejected confessions. The paper argues that both trends interpreted very differently the Reformed principle ecclesia semper reformari debet with ecclesia semper transformari debet' and throws light on how it is best to understand their way of thinking. | ||
