Das liegt nicht nur an der Wegrationalisierung der Zeit durch die zunehmende Durchökonomisierung der Medizin, sondern allen voran an der positivistischen Grundausbildung der Ärztinnen und Ärzte, die schon früh lernen, nur dem Beachtung zu schenken, was sich auch verobjektivieren und messen lässt. Das Gespräch wird in einer solchen Konzeption von Medizin bloß als Quelle nützlicher Informationen gesehen und nicht als wertvolle Interaktion. Im Grunde lernen die Medizinstudierenden schon sehr früh, das Gespräch als bloßes Instrument zu sehen und nicht als Ereignis mit eigenem Wert. Worin der eigene Wert des Gesprächs liegt und was seine grundlegenden Charakteristika sind, wird unter phänomenologischer Perspektive entfaltet. | ||

Such a vision of talking to patients is not only a result of an industrialization of medicine but also a result of a positivistic way of thinking in medicine. In such a perspective talking to patients is seen only in an instrumental manner. So talking is reduced to getting informations. But talking to patients is the core of medicine. In this paper five characteristics of a good talking to patients are elaborated. It is shown that talking to patients has multiple effects which can only be understood via a phenomenological view of talking | ||
