Description
Summary:Dramatic demographic shifts in patterns of partnering and parenting in the United States since the 1970s pose serious theological questions and confront churches with pressing dilemmas. Fresh theological reflections on parenting and partnering in light of far-reaching changes of American behavior patterns must arise from careful consideration of sociological "facts on the ground." This article served as the basis for a brief presentation on changing patterns of partnering and parenting in the American context at the third conference of the Global Network that took place in Hong Kong in January 2019.
