Par ailleurs, comme le montre le récit de la rencontre entre David et Nathan, ce sont avant tout les émotions d'indignation, de révolte, ou au contraire de satisfaction et de bonheur qui font émerger en nous l'intuition éthique. Des recherches actuelles affirment ainsi l'importance des concepts d'honneur et de honte pour l'éducation morale. La religion, enfin, avec son engagement existentiel, est une source inépuisable d'éveil éthique : elle offre une communauté, un lien relationnel fort, un engagement personnel, un souci de reconnaissance et d'empathie, une aide dans la formation d'une personne responsable. | ||

Young people develop their values in the context of enriching relationships with people they trust. Moreover, as the account of the encounter between David and Nathan shows, ethical intuitions are most often awakened, on the one hand, by emotions of outrage and rebellion, or, on the other hand, by satisfaction and happiness.
