| 520 | |a An unpublished greek inscription found near Suweidāʾ gives the exact location of the ʾAṭō monastery, quoted by the Letter of the archimandrites of Arabia, around ad 570, on the slopes of the tell Jefneh. The monastery is named in the new inscription by its greek name, Αταους (gén.), and it is run by the same archimandrites whose name appears in the Letter, not a surprise since the new inscription is dated to the decade 565-574. | ||
