AB Klaus Nürnberger has provided an invaluable contribution to theology over the course of his career, and he continues to do so. His recent writings focus on a model of theology that takes seriously the truth claims made by the natural sciences. This article investigates Nürnberger's understanding of God in the context of the science-religion conversation. It particularly focuses on how Nürnberger describes the immanence and transcendence of God.Intradisciplinary and/or interdisciplinary implications: This article provides an investigation of Klaus Nürnberger's doctrine of God, with special reference to transcendence and immanence. It engages natural science, theology and philosophy as its conversation partners.
