Section 1 develops this problem and Section 2 discusses the most famous arguments against the possibility of Christian philosophy, by Heidegger, Barth, and Carnap. Section 3 presents a philosophical position that explicitly calls itself »Christian philosophy«, namely Alvin Plantinga's Reformed Epistemology. Section 4 presents and discusses six possible conceptions of »Christian philosophy« that merit further consideration. The paper argues that, if »positional philosophy« is admissible at all, then there is a parity between religion-critical and religion-friendly positions. | ||
