Description
Résumé:Pope Francis seems to be like a whirlwind in the church, constantly setting new and surprising challenges for the church, placing the life of the church and her theology again and again into the context of our modern world, encouraging her to reach beyond her own boundaries to the whole of humanity. This study shows how well the Pope's initiatives are grounded in the theology of the Vatican II. Referring to various publications and addresses the author shows that Francis' whirlwind approach is not arbitrary, but is marked by a faithful implementation of the council's main tenets. Thus the Pope encourages the biginning of a new phase in the appropriation of the Council's teachings.
