Nous retenons un rôle modeste pour le contexte d'écriture, et appelons à concentrer l'étude sur l'objet explicite de l'évangile: Jésus-Christ. | ||

In so doing, we examine critical stances regarding the audience of the gospel, the esoteric nature of its language, its lack of reception in 'orthodox' circles and its dependence on its community's context. We then call for a more restrained approach to the context in which the gospel was written, and a renewed focus on the explicit subject of the gospel: Jesus Christ. | ||
