AB At the moment the question is being discussed every where of the adaptation of ecclesiastical structures to current social changes. This has happened either be cause of consciousness of tensions that have made themselves felt or because of the fact that people are preparing for the Council. It is clearly of importance that some organised sociological reflection be done now on the significance of « renewal » and the process by which it comes about. This article aims at provid ing a preliminary outline of the problem.
