| Zusammenfassung: | The Vita Sanctae Heliae survives in two tenth-century manuscripts: Biblioteca del Escorial, a.II.9 (= A) and Bibliothèque nationale de France, Nouvelles Acquisitions Latines 2178 (= B). The text was first edited by Guillermo Antolín in 1909, on the basis of A alone. In 2013 Virginia Burrus and Marco Conti produced a new edition and translation based on both manuscripts. This article discusses various passages for which Burrus and Conti's edition and/or translation can be improved. |
