Summary: | What does good theological reflective practice look like? What difference does it make to me, to the rest of the world and the discipline? How are we formed as reflective practitioners and how do we form others? All these aspects are touched upon in this short reflective piece prepared for the BIAPT Conference 2018 which asked these questions. I address them by charting the growth of reflective practice in my own life and then look at the use of reflective practice in the Church of Scotland formation process through the introduction of the Parabolic Loop. The article starts and ends with short autothenographic pieces on the reflective practitioner's bag. |
