AB Gemeindegesang erzeugt eigentümliche Materialitäten kollektiver Klangproduktionen, die in der Liturgiegeschichte reguliert und unterdrückt wurden. Als Singen des verletzten Körpers Christi beschrieben, kann dagegen die Varianz und Physikalität gottesdienstlichen Singens wiedergewonnen werden. Eine queer- und praxistheoretische Perspektive fokussiert erneut die Materialität und Widerständigkeit von Gemeindegesang und führt zu befreienden Gegenbildern gegen Ideologien ,authentischer', ,natürlicher' oder ,harmonischer' Gesangspraktiken, dieMenschen undWissen von Gott ausschließen.
AB Congregational singing creates specific materialities of a collective production of sounds, and this constitutes a topic and object that have been regulated and suppressed in the history of liturgy. Singing described, instead, in the image of the injured body of Christ, can recapture the variance and physicality of singing together in church services. A queer and practice-theoretical perspective focuses, again, on the materiality of and resistant involved in congregational singing, and leads to a counter-image that liberates from ideologies of more 'authentic', 'natural' or 'harmonic' practices of singing that exclude humans and types of knowledge from access to God.
