Описание
Итог:This article explores the importance of parousia in the poetry of Ted Hughes. In Hughes, parousia is the key to a central critique of metaphysics as a system of thought which prevents us to fully acknowledge presence and being. The article will investigate parousia both as part of a binary opposition where we find apousia ('to be absent, absence') at the other end, and as a as an all-embracing spatial element, which allows an opening up of the world here and now.
