The Author examines the cited canon, first by studying its meaning especially in light of the normative revision from the 1917 Code to the 1983 Code, then by examining the scholarly and jurisprudential positions about its subsistence as an autonomous ground for nullity, and finally by reviewing the relevant Rotal jurisprudence. This allows the reader to arrive at a global perspective on error of law as per can. 1099, articulated in six points in the concluding reflections | ||
