Das Ergebnis ist ein viel nuancenreicheres Verständnis der Idiome und der Beerdigungsmethoden, auf die sie sich beziehen. Im Buch der Könige bedeuten wytba-~[ + bkvyw traditionelle ursprüngliche Beerdigungspraktiken, die beeinträchtigt würden, wäre ein Körper schwer beschädigt oder könnte auf ihn nicht sofort zugegriffen werden (oder wenn politische Faktoren dies nicht zulassen). Mittlerweile bezieht sich rbq auch im Kontext der Schlussformeln der Königsbücher auf spätere, langfristige Stadien, um die sterblichen Überreste beizusetzen, während der Zusatz wytba-~[ die Verbindung dieser Überreste mit den davidischen Vorfahren angibt. 
520 |a The wytba-~[ + bkvyw and rbq formulae in the Book of Kings are best accounted for by way of close literary reading of the text and awareness of ancient Israelite and Judahite funerary customs unearthed by archaeology and rabbinic literature. The result is a much more nuanced understanding of the idioms and the funerary practices they refer to. In Kings, wytba-~[ + bkvyw signifies traditional initial funerary practices that would be compromised if a body was severely damaged or could not be immediately accessed (or if political factors would not allow it). Meanwhile, also in the context of Kings’ closing formulae, rbq refers to later, long-term stages of putting a deceased person’s remains to rest, while the addition of wytba-~[ specifies the combining of those remains with the Davidic ancestors.
