Description
Summary:Saint Joseph habitually not appears in the calendars of the Middle Age. Here we give some news of medieval Spanish synods in that one finds the Saint Joseph's holiday. But the special interest of this small study is that the complete texts, promulgated by the synod of Pamplona of 1524 for the Liturgy of the hours of San Jose, are edited with the antiphons, anthems, psalms readings and prayers. These texts are in a form of fourteen sheets in 8°, edited in Pamplona in 1525, of which an alone copy is known. The same form contains readings of the San Roque's Matins, which also are edited here
