| 520 | |a Apart from the Inuits, who, until the arrival of the 'white man', were unable to cultivate plants because of the climate, it can be said that all cultures and human societies used psychotropic substances, and their usage can be considered universal. Although the use of certain psychotropic substances is associated with deviancy, multiple reasons can shed light on the drug phenomenon as a multifactorial reality. Among these reasons we can mention: medical use for health reasons, pleasure and sensorial experience; knowledge and exploration of the self; psychotherapy with LSD 25; war; support for religious practices; creation and artistic inspiration, etc. Through a literature review, this article explores the sociological and anthropological perspective in the field of psychotropic substances and their ties with the process of creativity and artistic inspiration (music, poetry, the arts, etc.). With a constructivist approach, a psychosocial perspective will be enabled to take a hold on certain social and cultural challenges in the context of psychotropic substance use and artistic creation. | ||
| 520 | |a À part les Inuits qui, jusqu'à l'arrivée de "l’homme blanc", ne pouvaient faire pousser des plantes pour des raisons climatiques, on peut dire que toutes les cultures et les sociétés humaines ont utilisé une ou plusieurs substances psychoactives, leur usage étant universel. Si l'usage de certains psychotropes étrangers à la culture dominante est généralement associé à la déviance, les raisons multiples et variées qui sous tendent l'usage peuvent mieux nous éclairer sur le phénomène des drogues comme réalité multifactorielle. Parmi celles-ci, l'usage médical pour ramener le corps à la santé, le plaisir et l'expérience sensorielle, la connaissance et l'exploration de soi, la psychothérapie avec le LSD 25, la guerre, le support aux pratiques religieuses et bien sûr la création et l'inspiration artistique. À travers une revue de littérature, cet article explore la perspective socioculturelle dans le champ des substances psychoactives et les liens avec le processus de création (musique, poésie, arts, etc.). À partir d'une perspective constructiviste et interactionniste, une analyse psychosociale sera privilégiée pour saisir certains enjeux sociaux et culturels du phénomène drogues en contexte de création. | ||
