Описание
Итог:Fundamental theology as a discipline has its origins in the spiritual discussions of the first half of the 19th Century. One of the most important protagoniste seems to be Vinzenz Gasser, professor of theology in Brixen and later bishop of this diocèse, and finally secretary of the First Vatican Council. He was invited to write a »General Dogmatic«, a project leading him to the conception of Fundamental theology, but which he never realized. As professor he ofifered lectures on the topic, as bishop he provided a new syllabus of teaching theology. Gasser's objectives and methods are somewhat similar to those of St. Augustine in his confessiones.
