A theology of security will primarily distinguish the need from the discourse of security, emphasizing the priority of need in relation to discourse. It will, secondly, argue that on grounds of this distinction a broader, relatively indeterminate perspective on human need is attained, making possible its reinterpretation. Consequently, and finally, it will show that a biblically based key to this need would not be that of a tight resource of security but that of abundance - scooped out of the theological continuity of creation and grace. | ||
