Summary: | This essay deals with the management of and ecclesiastic vacant by the Spanish Crown since the treaty with the Holy See and the particular case of the sevillian archbishop Francisco Solís. He passed away in the last third of the XVIII century and his patrimony was the first one which was subject to the Spanish state' control in Seville diocese, becoming one of the few studied examples about the functioning of the new institution responsible for this privilege. |
