| Summary: | Abstract der Zeitschrift: In order to implement the EU-Directive 89/552/EEC on the coordination of certain provisions laid down by Law, Regulation or Administrative Action in Member States concerning the pursuit of television broadcasting activities, amended by 97/36/EC, an Amending Statute 3 to the Act on Broadcasting 19844 has been passed, wherein the legal holidays on which commercials are not allowed to be sent have been reduced. By this time commercials are just forbidden on 1st November and on 24th December (§ 5 sect. 7). At the same time the provision that commercials must not interfere with religious or political convictions has been extended to the Teletext- and Online-services (§ 5h in connection with § 5c) |
