| Summary: | This study takes up the idea of an Abrahamic ecumenism, first formulated by K.Kuschel and H. Küng. Yet Küng's idea of a Weltethos reduces the dialogue between the Abrahamic religions to a set of mutually agreed upon ethical mandates. Here it is argued that the dialogue between the Abrahamic religions needs a theocentric starting point and suggests that the different approaches to monotheism can be used to enter into a non-inclusivistic dialogue with hopes of mutual understanding and appreciation. |
