In this article, the author presents an historical overview of the particular law of the Catholic Church in Canada, from its origins (1658) to the Second Vatican Council. It presents some legislation promulgated in the wake of diocesan synods held in New France, the various provincial councils, and the only plenary council to be held in Canada (1909). | ||
